TractorTrailerParts manufactures cargo securement hardware for trailers — weld-on D-rings, surface-mount tie-down rings, hooks with chain, and safety chain retainers — supplied in bulk to US trailer builders, parts distributors and aftermarket dealers.
Multiple finish options — zinc plating, powder coating, hot-dip galvanizing or raw — selected based on container quantity and buyer requirement.
Request a QuoteMetal hardware welded or bolted to the trailer deck and frame to anchor straps, chains and load-binding equipment. Includes D-rings, tie-down rings, weld-on hooks, safety chain retainers and chain assemblies — all rated for working load and break strength.
WLL is the maximum load a tie-down or D-ring is rated to hold in normal use — typically 1/3 of the break strength. Our weld-on D-rings come in common WLL ratings: 5,000 lb, 12,000 lb and 18,000 lb depending on size and grade.
Safety chains are a secondary connection between the tow vehicle and trailer that prevents the trailer separating if the coupler fails. They cross under the tongue to form a basket that catches the tongue if it drops. Required by US DOT regulations on towed trailers.
Most US trailers use Grade 30 (general purpose) for light trailers and Grade 43 or Grade 70 (transport chain) for medium to heavy trailers. Match the chain's working-load-limit to the trailer's gross trailer weight per US FMCSA / DOT guidance.
Yes. We manufacture weld-on D-rings, tie-down rings, hooks with chain and safety chain retainers in container-load volumes for US OEM trailer manufacturers, distributors and aftermarket parts suppliers. Custom sizes, ratings and private-label packaging available.
