What size trailer coupler do I need?

Match the coupler ball size to your hitch ball: 1-7/8" couplers for light utility trailers, 2" couplers for most utility, boat and small cargo trailers, and 2-5/16" couplers for heavy-duty trailers up to 25,000 lb GVWR. Always confirm the coupler's weight rating exceeds your loaded trailer weight.

What weight ratings do your trailer couplers come in?

3,500 lb, 5,000 lb, 7,000 lb, 10,000 lb, 14,000 lb, 20,000 lb and 25,000 lb GVWR. A-frame couplers cover the lighter range (3.5K–14K), while adjustable channel-mount couplers cover the heavier range (14K–25K).

Are your trailer couplers bolt-on or weld-on?

Both. A-frame couplers are typically bolt-on with 3-hole or 4-hole patterns. Adjustable channel-mount couplers bolt onto the vertical channel of the trailer tongue. Weld-on versions are available on request.
